It is the purpose of the Vietnamese Student Association at NCSU to service the students both educationally and socially, paralleling the mission of the University. In addition to developing the person as a whole intellectually, VSA hopes to add a cultural dimension to this learning process. Furthermore, VSA works closely with Vietnamese communities in the surrounding cities to keep Vietnamese culture alive.

Every two years, Vietnamese Student Association at NCSU hosts a "Vietnamese Night" to promote Vietnamese culture with the help of Vietnamese Alumni, Vietnamese communities, and other VSA's in surrounding areas. We intend to extend our activities to include other events such as inviting speakers to expand our members' knowledge of Vietnamese history and tradition of the past and the present.

It is important for us to point out that VSA is not restricted to only Vietnamese students. We welcome all students alike who are interested in learning more about the Vietnamese culture.
